Alicia Keys dazzled last night [May 20] at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand in Sing City!  The songbird looked flawless as she wore a black Alaia Couture gown, but there was one tiny detail of her fit’ that caught our eye.

With her hair swept up into an up-do, Alicia make quite the statement rocking a pair of ear cuffs.  At first I thought she went piercing happy until further researching..

The trend has literally slipped by me as Rihanna was seen rocking similar cuffs at the MET Ball as well as Marie Antoinette actress Diane Kruger.
