Azealia Banks Confirms Collabos With Lady GaGa & Kanye West…
The spitfire Azealia Banks confirmed in a recent interview her work with music stars Kanye West and Lady GaGa. MTV grabbed the video footage of the Brazil’s Mix TV interview.
Whilst in Hawaii, on vacation, Banks was contacted by Mr. West himself to come into the studio and cook up something with the Hip-Hop monster:
“Working with Kanye was a lot of fun. I just kind of went out to Hawaii for vacation, and he has a studio out there. And he was just like, ‘You should really come to the studio,’ so I went to the studio and just worked it out.”
Banks did not reveal many details of what exactly was created with the G.O.O.D. Music head but she dropped titles for the work created with Lady GaGa:
“I worked with Lady Gaga, but I worked with Lady Gaga from afar. We worked via email and via Internet. We have a song called ‘Red Flame’ and a song called ‘Ratchet,’ but I don’t know what she’s doing with it. She’s going to release it when she wants to release it.”
Next year is shaping up to be a bold one for the Harlemite: a debut LP and collaborations with the industry’s most popular.
