Bahamian Prime Minister Christie’s Son Marries In Lavish Ceremony! [Photos]
Yesterday [Oct 20] the town was all abuzz as the wedding of all weddings went down in lil ole’ Nassau and SheSoMajor.com just happened to stumble across a coveted invite!
At 4:00 p.m. EST, the first family of The Bahamas were all set to marry off their first child, Stefan Christie to the beautiful Vanessa Williams at the historical St. Agnes Anglican Parish!
Even the rain showers couldn’t dampen the mood as hundreds spilled into the Baillou Hill Road church; politicians, social butterflies, family and friends of the happy couple lined the pews to witness the ‘royal wedding’.
I spent most of my life sniffing incense in St. Aggie and never have I seen it more beautiful than it was yesterday, hats off to the florist who made the church look like an enchanted forest.
Most brides don’t know time, but this Vanessa was ontime.com, and she was THE most beautiful bride a hubby could ever ask for. Her bridal party was flawless and I think imma need to borrow one of those bridesmaids dresses! Cayute!

The service was short and sweet thanks to the Rev. Fr. Ranfurly Brown who kept his sense of humour and gave the newlyweds timely advice on how to keep that flame burning!
An hour and it was over just like that!
The sunset celebration was to follow promptly at 6:00 p.m. at the ultra exclusive Albany Resort and let’s just say table #25 was THE table to be at! We had to get shhhhhh’d a time or two but hey that’s what happens when you have a limitless bar and waiters that magically refill your glasses.
Visage provided the evening’s entertainment and they were beyond awesome. Shout outs to Dyson who forgot his waistline at home!
The evening was nothing short of spectacular and we wish the newlyweds, the new Mr. & Mrs. Christie a lifetime of love and happiness!
