On an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing today [May 24], Charlize Theron finally opens up about adopting her adorable son Jackson.
The South African beauty recalled the long process saying,
“The process, it took around two years.”
“It really took two years of just waiting and then one day it’s finally there. It just feels exactly how it’s supposed to feel. I don’t know how to describe it. It just feels right.”
She also went on to speak of a touching moment between herself and her mother.
“My mom said the most beautiful thing. I’m going to cry. She said…it took me nine months to fall in love with you were growing in my stomach. She’s like it took you two years to fall in love with this little baby.”
