As we reported earlier this month, at the age of 26, Aubrey Graham was proud to announce his completion of high school.
Drake dropped out of school back in 2001 to pursue his career in acting [DeGrassi: The Next Generation] and later became a worldwide phenom when he signed to Young Money.
During his graduation ceremony at Jarvis C.I high school in Toronto, Drake gave a heartfelt speech in front of his friends, family and classmates, in which he opened up about why he decided to go back to school and accomplish something that many now look up to him for.
“It’s not about the popular kids, it’s not about the kids that don’t feel as popular because all that changes later in life. And I promise you, I’m 26 years old, it changes. What this is about today, for all of you, is about the art of following through.”
