Happy 43rd Birthday Jay-Z!

December 4, a star was born!

Today [Dec. 4] marks the 43rd birthday of one of our favourite rappers and mogul of all time, Sean ‘Jay-Z’ Carter and we’d like to salute him on this his special day!

Jay has had an absolutely phenomenal year.  He had big dreams of bringing a basketball team across the bridge to his hometown Brooklyn and he saw that dream come to fruition. Stand up Brooklyn Nets! Jigga landed once more on Forbes’ annual ’Hip-Hop Cash Kings’ making about 37 million this year alone from ventures such as Carol’s Daughter as well as Duracell and how could we forget that awesome ‘Made In America’ festival in Philly.

Although all of that may sound major, we’re thinking the highlight of Jay’s year has been spending quality time with his baby girl Blue Ivy who is going to turn one next month!
