“It Was Wild.” Wiz Khalifa Talks Kanye West Name ‘Theraflu’ Name Drop.

When Kanye West dropped his latest single ‘Theraflu, he made sure to name check a few people.

One of those turned out to be ‘Black & Yellow’ rapper Wiz Khalifa, who happens to be the fiancé of his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.

Yeezy rapped, “The only n*gga I gat respect for is Wiz.” Surely a compliment, Wiz gave his thoughts on the record yesterday [April 23] while chatting with Funkmaster Flex at HOt 97.

FF: Were you surprised when he [Kanye] mentioned your name in the song?

Wiz: Very.

FF: Shocked?

Wiz: Yes!

FF: Why was it so shocking to you?

Wiz: ‘Cause he said my name, yeah..I mean I’ve gone a long time without anybody actually saying my name out loud like that.  It wasn’t a bad thing…It was just that fact that it was my name…that’s my name…It was wild, but it wasn’t nothing negative. everybody got positive from it. 

FF: Have you seen Kanye since the song.

Wiz: No, I’ve never met him before…never..But it was cool tho.
