Jennifer Williams Drops Lawsuit Against Nia Crooks…
Is Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams letting bygones be bygones?
The reality star has decided to drop the lawsuit she filed against Nia Crooks in January after being publicly humiliated when Crooks slapped her across the face.
Although, Jenn claimed that the incident caused her “serious injuries and psychological damage,” she has had a change of heart because according to her rep she is “already dealing with her difficult divorce and did not feel that it was necessary to continue to pursue civil action.”

Nia and her lawyer are relived about Jenn’s decision and released a statement saying,
“We have always maintained that the frivolous lawsuit brought by Jennifer Williams was nothing short of a last-gasp attempt to maintain her dwindling relevance on the ‘Basketball Wives.’”
“Nia is happy to put this issue behind her and start looking ahead to work on her own career.”
Jenn took to Twitter to address a few things after word got out that she had dropped the suit.
“Just bc I don’t post my every move on Twitter doesn’t mean I’m not making big things happen! Trust! Real G’s move in silence…In due time all will be revealed… Good night tweet hearts!…FYI- dropping a civil lawsuit doesn’t mean you don’t have to deal with the criminal charges! ”maintaining my relevance” oh ok!
