Lauryn Hill Pleads GUILTY To Tax Evasion; Faces Up To 3 Years In Jail!

On Friday [June 29], Lauryn Hill plead guilty at a federal court in Newark, New Jersey to intentionally failing to file several tax returns in the past 10 years.

After pleading guilty to three counts of tax evasion for the years 2005, 2006, and 2007, the former Fugees singer was released on a $150,000 bail and fined $75,000.

Lauren heads back to court in November for sentencing, giving her time to pay back the money she owes, and faces up to 3 years behind the slammer.
