MAJOR Music: Azealia Banks “BBD”
Miss 212 bka as Azealia Banks is here to set 2013 on fire. About a month ago she teased the image for a new single entitled “BBD.” Many thought it was an acronym for the filthy “Big Black D**k.” Today, on New Year’s Eve, Azealia Banks releases the full track, stating “BBD” is an acronym for “Bad Bi*ches Do It.”
The Apple Juice Kid and Sup Doodle-produced track is another hammer-on-the-head tune for Banks. Her lyrical style is matched with another sonically attractive bass-bumping track. Banks confirms “BBD” will not appear on her debut LP: Broke With Expensive Taste.
The first single to be lifted from Broke… will be “Miss Amor” with a B-side entitled “Miss Camaraderie.” Banks is off to a fiery start. Take a listen to the track below.
