“In spite of the chains that bind you/You can see the mountaintop’It’s not too far.”

After weeks of teasing, Mariah Carey has finally dropped “Triumphant (Get ‘Em) ” featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill; produced by Jermaine Dupri.

The track serves as the first single off of the powerhouse singer’s upcoming fourteenth studio album which she’s currently working on with manager and good friend Randy Jackson, co-writer and co-producer of “Triumphant” Bryan M. Cox, and other heavyhitters in the industry.

The yet-to-be titled album is slated for a fall release.

”The message of #Triumphant is very close to my heart and I know you can relate to it too. LYM!,” said Carey via Twitter.

During a conference call Mariah dished on working with Rozay and Meek saying,

“I listen to their music and I met Ross a while back and i’m so proud of him. With the Meek situation, it just seemed natural and optimum to have him on the record.”

On who she wants to work with: People always ask me this and I never answer because people will bite the idea. You know, you never know who you will end up working with.

On approaching the new project with dance music being what’s hot: I was preggo forever and I was tortured day and night by techno music. I remember one time I made dinner for L.A Reid and we were like ‘what happened’. I still make dance remixes myself but right now, I decided to re-sing all the vocals for “Triumphant” as i’ve done many times with past music.
