MAJOR Music: Rihanna – “Diamonds”
Rihanna has officially released her highly-anticipated first single off her of yet-to-be titled seventh album, slated for a November release date.
Written by Sia and produced by Stargate and Benny Blanco, “Diamonds” is set to top the charts with it’s sultry tone and we know will become our favorite good girl gone bad’s 12th number one single.
While debuting the track, which is about two lovers shining, on the Elvis Duran Morning Show, Rih dished on the it saying,
“You’re not sad or dancing. You’re happy and hippie. It’s laid-back, but it’s hopeful. “It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically.”
