Mary J. Blige Talks ‘Rock of Ages’ On ‘Chelsea Lately’…[Video]

Sitting pretty in a yellow blouse and black pants, last night [June 7] Mary J. Blige stopped by Chelsea Lately to dish on her new flick Rock of Ages.

During her interview, the Queen of Hip Hop Soul revealed that she didn’t have to audition for her role in the flim because the director Adam Shankman believed the part was for her but Mary didn’t take it for granted.

She went on to say she hired an acting coach to perfect her skills.

Rock of Ages hits theaters June 15th.
