Nicki Minaj Says She’s Republican, But Is She Even Eligible To Vote?!
Nicki Minaj shocked many loyal supporters yesterday [Sept 3] after dropping the revelation that she was a Republican and voting for Mitt Romney.
The lyrics which were extracted from Lil Wayne’s ‘Mercy’ single featuring Minaj off of his ‘Dedication 4′ mix-tape maybe shouldn’t even be taken literally.
Nick Minaj was born on the Caribbean island of Trinidad , so the first question we must ask is, is she even a citizen; only citizens are eligible to vote. The ‘Starships’ singer also revealed on the track that she came to America on a ‘temporary visa’…
We’re not confirming that Nicki can or can’t vote because after all of these years, she very well may have been granted citizenship which would allow her to vote. BUT, it was uncovered by The Washington Post that Onika Tanya Maraj’s isn’t even registered in the last three states she resided in, so maybe we shouldn’t even be giving this story any blog or airtime.
The last day to register is Oct. 12th for New Yorkers and 25 days before the election for other American states. Get it together Nicki Nicki!
