You guys just don’t know how happy I am!
I love Gwen Stefani and the crew!
After dropping the first single ‘Settle Down’ off of their upcoming album, ‘Push and Shove’, the SoCal band has dropped their first video in umpteen years!
The party/ trucker video was directed by Sophie Muller, who previously helmed No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” and “Simple Kind of Life” videos.
Muller previously spoke a little on the video to Rolling Stone saying,
“I’ve worked with them so long, it was kind of natural that I would do this one. They sent me this song and said ‘Do you like this?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I love it.
“Lyrically it’s not really a party song. It’s got a real emotional desire to get through something. You have a combination of this party feel with her struggle to be able to express herself.”
I love it. The band is still the same eleven years later!
Be sure to keep an ear out for No Doubt’s new album ‘Push and Shove’ coming September 25.
