Just a couple of days after being dubbed a “no-go” by Nivea, Rihanna has landed an exciting three-year deal as the face of her hometown, Barbados.
The 24-year-old “Where Have You Been” singer, who started shooting her campaign on one of the island’s beaches today [August 10], will act as the official ambassador in an effort to boost tourism.
According to BTA chairman Adrian Elcock,
Production on the promotional campaign is expected to begin soon,” reported the Barbados Free Press. “It will be launched in September, in time for the winter tourist season.”
