Rihanna To Open 2012 MTV VMA’s With “Cockiness” Feat. A$AP Rocky…

Rihanna wants you to lick her persuasion.

The Bajan beauty is the opening act for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards going down this Thursday [Sept 6] at 8 p.m. ET/PT, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

While many thought Chris Brown would be joining his former girlfriend on stage for a performance of their collaborative effort “Birthday Cake,” Rih will joined by A$AP Rocky and DJ/producer-Wunderkind for a debut of their remix of “Cockiness” off of Rih’s album Talk That Talk.

Rih will also perform her hit song “We Found Love” with DJ Calvin Harris.

Rihanna is nominated for a whooping five nominations including Best Pop Video and Best Female Video for “We Found Love,” Video Of The Year for “We Found Love,” and “Take Care” with Drake.
