Sherman Hemsely, most famously known as George Jefferson on All In The Family and The Jefferson’s, has passed away at the age of 74.
The actor, who has no wife and no kids, passed away at his home in El Paso, Texas.
Details of the death are currently under investigation.

Sherman Hemsley died of natural causes and was discovered by his nurse.
