The Bahamas’ Chris Brown Voted ‘Worst Name’ Of 2012 Olympics..

There’s nothing like having an infamous person’s name.

The Bahamas’ seasoned Olympian, Chris Brown has found himself on quite the list if we’ve ever seen one. Compiled by popular website BuzzFeed, the 400m runner joins the ranks of athletes from around the world whose names were single handily plucked out and put on display.

BuzzFeed’s ’28 People With The Best Names In The 2012 London Olympics’ focused on athletes in the Olympiads with off the wall names like ‘Hulk’, Destinee Hooker’, ‘Dong Dong’, ‘Kathryn Fudge’ amongst others.  Although these names were far worst than the worst…the Bahamas’ Christopher Brown was the only one to make the ‘Worst Name’ list.

Our reasoning, naturally is because he shares the name with entertainment bad boy Chris Brown, who is now infamous for the Rihanna incident.

Although we’re sure these lists were only made for pure ‘LOL’s and ‘LMAO’s', it’s pretty disrespectful to these athletes who dedicate their entire lives to their craft, and work so hard to qualify to compete on this the biggest sporting stage in the world.

While we can’t change the opinion of BuzzFeed we can say we throw our FULL support behind Bahamian athlete Chris Brown who has devoted his entire life to representing The Bahamas and is one of the most decorated Bahamian male athletes in history.

Chris has two Olympic medals, one bronze and one silver tucked under his belt, we hope and pray he goes for gold at the 2012 London Olympics.
