Was Kim Kardashian Banned From The 2012 Met Gala?

While Kanye West looked quite dapper in his Givenchy tux at the 2012 Met Gala in New York City, his girlfriend Kim Kardashian was noticeably missing.

RadarOnline is reporting the event’s co-chair Anna Wintour shunned the reality star from attending the event even though Kim could easily fork over $25K for a ticket.

Wintour wanted the annual event to be in attendance by celebrities who she feels are influential and Kim did not make the cut.

“Anna hates Kim,” a source says. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”

“Kim can’t even buy her way in, Anna Wintour does NOT want her there!” the source says.

It doesn’t stop there. Although the E! reality queen has covered numerous magazines don’t expect to see her on the cover of VOGUE.

“Anna Wintour would allow Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue over her dead body,” the source says. “As long as Anna in charge you will NOT see Kim on Vogue.”

Eeek! That sucks!
