What Did Karrueche Tran Ever Do To You?

After staying up after hours last night to write about the love triangle that is Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran & Rihanna I woke up to the message…”girl, they’re talking so stank about Karrueche on the radio?”  My first response was, ‘fa what’?   This girl’s done nothing to anyone of us….All she did was fall in love with a man that was incapable of loving her the way she loved him.

No,  I don’t know Karrueche Tran, but I’ve had my heart broken before, and a man has put another woman before me so I know what it feels like and I can relate.   I can’t begin to fathom the emotional hell that this 23-year-old model is going through…having your life dissected before an unforgiving world is tough!

Let’s sit down and chat about this love triangle logically, removing the celebrity variable, because I think all of our judgements have been clouded.

Who is Karruche Tran?

Karrueche & Chris Brown met during the most trying time in his life.  He was dealing with the fall out from Rihannagate and this woman was brave enough to step out with a man who she wasn’t even sure of would beat her a**, but she did.  For about three years she walked by Chris’ side, his ride-or-die, when the world was still giving Chris the f*ck you….she was there.  She knew her role, she was a team player.  The whispers of a Rihanna takeover never quite went away, but she stuck with him.

For all of the women out there, how many of YOU are strong enough to stick out the turbulence of a public affair as such?

Yea, making light of her name was always fun for me, and everyone else, but that’s become dated.  Karrueche never did anything to any of us to receive such public hatred.

If Chris, Rihanna and Tran were ‘normal’ people, how would any of this be acceptable? [Oh, cuz they've got history?]  Chris would be labeled a dog, Rihanna would be labeled a whore for initiating this relationship [anyone who begs to differ has cataracts] and Tran would be the victim….Just because they’re celebrities doesn’t change their morality.  They don’t get a pass on the moral highway.

If Rihanna & Chris Brown were truly ‘friends’, there would be no need to end things with Karrueche.  Isn’t Draya Michele Chris Brown’s ex? Is she not friends with Karr?  Let’s look at this story for what it is….Messy.  Chris betrayed Karrueche for the love of his life…..was he wrong? Maybe… He go about the situation wrong…yes, now let’s stop demonizing Karrueche for no damn reason.

We all might sit down and laugh and comment on the fact that everyone saw this coming, and we’re right we did see it coming….but ladies, how many times have you heard a man say something and do another?  We weren’t there when Chris was singing the sweet nothings’ in Karr’s ear….she believed what her man told her….

Chris Brown & Rihanna’s reconnection ain’t no damn love story!  This isn’t something you want your kid, your niece or your nephew to experience, so stop promoting slackness!

Karrueche Tran was just a girl that fell in love and that’s o.k.!
