Last week I did something I have always dreaded. Something I have said that I will never do! I went swimming with sharks in Bimini. ?? How’d that go? Ha! ??
To be honest. I hopped in and held on to the boat with one hand for dear life. I saw the “friendly” reef sharks at Triangle Rock and was amazed; they were in their element gliding through their territory. It was an amazing sight to see. They didn’t pay us any attention.
Was I still fearful? Heck yea! According to our guide, sharks have seven senses, they can feel your fear, your heartbeat and everything in between. I was terrified they would feel me shaking in my bikini and gobble me up. But, I am super proud of myself for at least attempting to get in. Hollywood has done a great job of making sharks the villains!
If you have the opportunity, try it! While I may never do it again, it is a major experience.
