On Sunday, Air India Flight 173, from Delhi to San Francisco set out to make history and that they did. The flight’s entire flight operations from cockpit crew to cabin crew, check-in staff, doctor, customer care staff, Air Traffic Control and the entire ground handling, were handled by women making it “world’s longest” all-women-operated flight ever! BOOM!
Oh, just us women, turning the world upside down one achievement at a time! How amazing must it have been to have been on that historical flight!
The almost 17 hour non-stop flight which travelled a distance of 14,000 kilometers was done in celebration of today’s International Women’s Day, an annual day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women all around the world.
