The end of 2017 is quickly approaching and you know what that means, time to get your 2018 travel plans in order. I have no idea where I want to go next year, but once I’m on a plane, does my destination even matter? There are a few places that I have still not ticked off of my bucket-list, (Morrocco, Iceland, Giza) but I think 2018 will be a year of spontaneous travel for me. I love the idea of spinning a globe and just going. (My pockets probably wouldn’t be interested though!)
Last year, it seemed as if everyone snatched up the same deals; the hottest and most Instagrammed travel spots by far were Bali, Thailand, Morocco, Mexico, and Iceland, but the country that will be crowned as the ‘it’ destination of 2018 is still anyone’s guess. Travel & Leisure, everyone’s favourite travel authority, recently published their annual 50 places to visit that helps to narrow down travel choices for the upcoming year.
While a few of the listed choices are a bit blah, some deserve a second look.
My favourites from the list are; Grenada, Egypt, Marrakesh, Fiji, Ireland, Tel Aviv Israel, Brussels, Belgium and The Bahamas, naturally. 🙂
You can check out the full list at Travel and Leisure‘s 50 places to visit in 2018.
What are some places on your bucket list for 2018? I’d love to hear them. Let me know down in the comments!

Tel Aviv is HIGH on my list, along with Peru and Portugal. It looks like Colombia will be my first destination in 2018.
Cuba, Grenada, and New York are on my list for 2018. Starting small since I’m from the Caribbean.
