When it comes to low rates, superior customer service and satisfaction JetBlue Airlines is always my go to. The New York based airline which launched in February 11, 2000 as a low cost carrier is the 5th largest carrier in the United States of America and is one of only two 4 star airlines in the U.S. JetBlue exceeds its customers expectations and this weekend it did so once again giving consumers everywhere just another reason to love them.
Following the aftermath of the tragic shooting in Orlando, Florida, at Pulse nightclub, the airline ensured that the family members of those affected by the shootings were able to get to their loved ones by providing them with free air travel and additional support.
- JetBlue is providing free seats on its available flights to/from Orlando for immediate family and domestic partners of victims who were killed or injured. Those family members and domestic partners requiring travel assistance can contact 1-800-JETBLUE for details.
- A fee waiver is in place for customers traveling to/from Orlando who need to make last-minute changes to their travel plans.
- For JetBlue crewmembers impacted by this event, we have activated resources to assist and are offering a donation program. Crewmembers can visit our internal website, hellojetblue, or talk to their crewleader for more details.
- JetBlue will make a charitable contribution to support the victims and their families.
