It seems as if it was only just yesterday that summer arrived, ushering in the warmth of the golden sun and the need to spend endless lazy days at the beach. While there are still a few more weeks to relish in this season, the days are steady winding down. If you haven’t squeezed all of the fun out of the first few months of summer, what are you waiting on?
There’s still some time left!
I feel that I’ve disappointed summer this year, therefore my goal is to press gas on the remaining weeks and live out my wildest summer dreams before the sun sets on summer. I’m finally headed to one of my favourite places to end summer in style, but it doesn’t matter where you are. Before the summer ends, lets promise to take a few more things off of our summer bucket list!
- Watch A Sunset – Sunset watching is one of my absolute favourite things to do. There’s something so special about the moment, it makes you pause and reflect, it makes you aware of time and space. Some people say they’re all the same, but I believe each sunset is unique and beautiful. Can’t you tell I have a thing for sunsets?
- Travel Somewhere You’ve Never Been Before – Weekend trip anyone? Set your out of office message and pack your bags and do something different. Travel to the next state, the next island, the next city just change up your scenery a little!
- Spend Time With Family + Friends – As adults, we tend to take for granted our family. While everyone is living their own lives, it’s good to get together and spend time with the people we love. Maybe throw a family beach picnic and catch up on whose expanding the fam!
- Go To The Beach – {Alternate – Pool} I have not taken a dip in the water this summer. I knowwww, it’s terrible, but I haven’t had the opportunity to. It is now my number 1 priority before summer ends. Pack some drinks, pack a speaker, some snacks and carry a few girlfriends and catch a nice chocolate tan.
- Have A Picnic – When was the last time you had a picnic? I haven’t had one in years. Take a break from the Netflix, social media updates and grab your significant other, make some yummy sandwiches, sangria and find a cool spot to shoot the breeze.
What are your late summer goals? I’d love to hear them.
