So I’ve decided to do something a bit different today! I fell into a state of nostalgia this week as I swiped through photos of my previous trips around the world and I wanted to share some of those places that I would return to in a heartbeat! Eternal favourites!
The holiday season is swiftly approaching and if you’re like me, someone who loves to bring in the New Year somewhere different, these are all great countries and cities to visit.
PARIS is always a good idea. I’ve done Paris at least three-four times, and each time I’m introduced to something different that makes me fall in love with the city. I won’t lie, Paris is not for everyone. There are many people who arrive with a perception and are completely underwhelmed. I love the food, the art and culture and the overall vibe of it all.
Take me to the Greek! I tend to not like to revisit places, just because the world is so big and there are so many places to go, but GREECE is worthy of a do-over. I’ve visited Athens, Santorini and Mykonos and they completely stole my heart away. If you want culture go to Athens, if you’re in love and want gorgeous views, go to Santorini and if you want to party, Mykonos is your place! Oh, FYI, the food is incomparable!
The charming French outpost in The Caribbean, ST. BARTS is the perfect place to catch some R&R. While the island took quite a beating during the 2017 hurricane season, the island is slowly making a comeback. I’m a bit bias when visiting other islands in The Caribbean because I’m from The Bahamas, but this made me change my entire philosophy about Caribbean travel. The service, food and views on the entire island are hard to beat!
