There are so many great products, books, articles, clothing, restaurants, and experiences that I come across on a daily basis that I just keep to myself, but that changes as of right now! I wanted to devote one day of the week, Fridays! on the blog to share all of my favourite things that are sitting in a cart or saved for later or saved to my favs!
Without further ado, here are a few of my favourite weekly things.
BEAUTY
Summer Fridays: From the company that gave the beauty world the cult favourite, Jetlag Mask, welcome, the Overtime Mask. Summer Fridays recently dropped their newest offering, an exfoliating pumpkin flavoured mask, filled with Vitamins A, K and C. I was not one of those people to purchase Jetlag, while I heard amazing things about it, as someone with excessively oily and acne prone skin, I couldn’t chance anything else clogging my pores. So what changed? Pumpkin! I have used countless pumpkin masks and they’ve all been pretty amazing. This mask just seems to be something more fitting for my skin type! But, at 44$, I’ve saved it to my favourites for now!
Fenty Beauty: Rihanna, just take all of my money. As a lover of most things Fenty, especially the original Gloss Bomb, I’m counting down the days til’ I get my paws on Fenty’s latest, “Diamond Milk”, Gloss Bomb, a shimmery pearlesque lip gloss. I’m in LOVE with the original, so I’m pumped to try this. My only concern is I hope it doesn’t look white on my lips. ??♀️

Patricia Bright: This is not a drill, one of my favourite beauty influencers is dropping her debut book, Heart & Hustle (What It Takes To Make It To The Top). I will be honest, I’ve not been a Youtuber for as long as I would like to be, truthfully, I got reeled into the wonderful world of Youtube maybe a year ago, and somehow found Patricia. Maybe it was her British accent, the way she infuses humour into her videos, or her girl next door charm, but I fell in love with her. She’s just enough, not too over the top and so darn likeable. Anyways, I was absolutely thrilled when she announced she was coming out with a book that would detail the exact steps that she took to achieve her current success. If you’re interested in growing a successful digital business, maybe you should save this to your favourites as well! The book is available for pre-order and will be available November 15.
Michelle Obama: Our forever First Lady, FLOTUS Michelle Obama recently announced that she has finally completed her upcoming memoir, Becoming. Typically, a book like this wouldn’t be my first choice to read, but I am definitely going to pick myself up a copy. According to FLOTUS, this book is candid and honest and details the experiences that helped to shape her to become who she is today. As a woman that has always carried herself with class and dignity on the world stage, how could I not file this under favourites? P.S. M.O. is also going to be doing a book tour so if you’re in lucky enough to have her in your city, you should attend. The book is available for pre-order and will be available November 13.

Chriselle Lim Collection: As a blogger, I truly loving supporting other bloggers, especially women. One of my favourite bloggers/influencers recently released a stand-alone collection and there’s one piece in particular that caught my eye. My style is very simplistic. I cherish comfort over anything else and if I could live in one outfit for the rest of my life it would be a pair of jeans, a tailored blazer and a pair of sneakers. Chriselle’s collection features a piped houndstooth blazer that I am in love with but not 100% sure I need….yet! It’s a classic that I can see turning into a staple but, I need to sleep on it! A part of me wishes it wasn’t double breasted.
