It’s been months since I’ve hit publish on a blog post. 2020 has undoubtedly been one for the books. There’s so much that has happened, life has been one constant whirlwind, some of it good, some of it terrible. There’s one more week left in the month of July and here in The Bahamas, we’re back on lockdown.
Yes, we were doing amazing sweetie, but the competent authorities thought it was time to open our borders for travel…then all hell broke loose. Since July 1, there has been a steady increase of COVID cases and it continues to rise. Truthfully, it’s been exhausting, but I’ve used the time to finally do all of the things that I’ve been hitting the pause button on. So let’s talk about it.
The reason I’ve been AWOL is that I’ve been beyond busy with the e-commerce side of SHESOMAJOR. Yes, we finally have products! At the top of the year, we began working on a line of hair accessories & lifestyle products that were all set to launch this year, but COVID. I’m still not ready to share all of the details but, it’s coming soon!
In the interim, I decided to launch a line of handmade breathable cotton masks made in The Bahamas. Not in a million years would I have thought I would be behind a sewing machine, but here we are. If life in 2020 has taught me anything, it’s that when hands you lemons, ? squeeze and make something out of it!
